Beyond Chrysant is a modern chrysanthemum nursery located in Hoek van Holland, the Netherlands. Founded by brothers Wouter and Martijn Duijvesteijn, the company is built around innovation and automation, creating a future-proof growing operation.

For this project, HT Verboom supplied several automation solutions for both the propagation area and the internal logistics. On the second cultivation level, a fully automated propagation department was realized, equipped with our spray booms and LED grow lighting from Green Simplicity. The combination of an optimized lighting strategy and controlled irrigation provides ideal growing conditions, allowing young cuttings to develop into strong plants before being automatically transported to the greenhouse.

Automation also plays a key role in the processing area. A crane system transports full containers to the lift, which transfers them to the second cultivation level. In addition, a robotic arm performs several logistics tasks, automatically placing full trays into containers and transferring sorted trays onto trolleys ready for transport to the planting machine.

By combining these automation solutions into one integrated system, an efficient logistics process has been created that reduces manual labor, increases capacity, and optimizes the propagation process.
