KP Holland is a third-generation family-owned company based in De Lier, The Netherlands. It specialises in breeding, propagating, and cultivating flowering potted plants such as Spathiphyllum, Kalanchoë, and Curcuma.

Over the past year, we have worked with KP Holland to implement large-scale automation at their Kanaalweg 20 location. Together, we implemented a fully automated mobile container system, including an overhead crane, (de)stackers, a container washer, Pick & Place robots, and a cultivation area in close cooperation with Green Simplicity.

Thanks to implementing the new mobile container system, employees can now remain at the front of the warehouse, significantly reducing time and physical effort. The benefits of the new cultivation system are substantial: a more stable climate for the plants, fewer manual operations, and optimised logistics.
